While the site is now largely done it is always a work in progress and I look forward to your ideas to improve your community. As time goes on it is my goal to become involved in local battle of the bands competitions along with the music unions and associations located across the Midwest.

what I am looking for is people who want to see this grow, I cant do it myself, I am looking for a web team to help me... some to moderate the forums and some to give ideas and to add content weither it be reviews or just something you would like to see added... I need people with experience doing this... I unfortunately dont have the time to teach, so anyone with any experience is welcome... if you are interested post here or send me a email to: mjstanton2 {at} midwestmusicians {dot} com

I now have RSS feeds available for the Announcements and for Upcoming Events. Opera and FireFox users may notice that in your address bar you have the option to add the feed that way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! Doing such will subscribe you to every post made on this site. Instead, please use the buttons I provided on the homepage. The buttons are color coded for which one is which the Orange button is for Announcements and the Blue for Upcoming Events

Welcome to Midwest Musicians 2.0 same forum same info new look... in the near future there will be rss feed ability and also a cell phone feed... I am trying to get this site out there in as many ways possible.

As I continue to promote the site and get our community growing I have started a myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/midwestmusicians I am hoping that this avenue along with others I am currently working on will bring more people into the community. As always suggestions are always welcome.

| Announcement: Birth of my son and a kick in the pants |

Yes, I would like to announce the birth of my son, Benjamin Luke, born February 2nd. He is the reason I have not been as active getting the site active as I wanted to, but now that he is born I will be bringing the site back to the front burner... with that if anyone has contacts with their local battle of the bands programs please let them know we exist and also your fellow musicians as this is the primary way to grow... I will also be doing some serious PR work here in the next few weeks that...
